Jewelry Care

Jewellery is a delicate treasure that requires a little care and attention to keep it looking its best.

When undressing, wipe each piece with a clean soft cloth to remove oils and perspiration.

You should always store the jewellery in your Sissim gift box or in a fabric lined jewellery box.

Never expose your jewellery to household cleaning products, chlorine swimming pools or hot tubs, and never wear your jewellery when doing exercise or other physical work.

As with most precious metals, sterling silver tarnishes. This is less likely to happen as quickly if regularly worn.

Clean your silver jewellery in warm soapy water, ensuring that it is rinsed thoroughly and dried before storing.

Alternatively polish your silver jewellery with a soft cloth.

Gold Vermeil

Gold vermeil is a layer of gold over sterling silver, and requires a little care and attention.

Always remove your gold vermeil jewellery when applying lotions and potions, especially perfume.

The best thing you can do for your gold vermeil pieces is to always put them on last when getting dressed.

Never wear your gold vermeil jewellery in the shower or when swimming.

Gently clean your gold vermeil jewellery with a soft cloth.
